2017 Tap Permit Fee Schedule
Bear Creek Water and Sanitation Tap permit fees as of January 1, 2017:    

$4,994  Per single family residential equivalent for water tap permits- includes one inspection fee ($200.00).

$   100    Per water stub-in + $200 Inspection Fee = $ 300 Total Water Stub in Fee

$5,210 Per single family residential equivalent for sanitary sewer tap permits- includes  one inspection fee ($150.00) and Metro Wastewater Reclamation District 2017 Sewer Tap Permit Fee- ($4,220.00).

$   100    Per sanitary sewer stub-in + $ 150.00 Inspection Fee = $ 250 Total Sewer Stub in Fee

Inspections must be scheduled with the District Engineer's Office 24 hours prior to the inspection. Additional charges will be billed to the permittee for any subsequent inspections in the event the tap connection fails initial inspection(s),  the contractor is not ready when the inspection is scheduled, or any other delays are caused by the permittee.  These additional charges would be based on costs incurred by the District for said subsequent inspections and any related administrative costs.

Tap Inspection Fees:
$   200    Water tap inspection

$   200    Water stub-in inspection
$   150    Sanitary sewer tap inspection
$   150    Sanitary sewer stub-in inspection

 
Denver Water provides water service to the customers of Bear Creek Water and Sanitation District under a water service agreement; therefore, system development charges (SDC) are collected by Denver Water in addition to the District's tap permit fees. Please check with Denver Water Sales (303) 628-6100 for SDC prices, meter charges, labor fees and regulations.

Bear Creek Water and Sanitation District collects tap fees on behalf of Metro Wastewater Reclamation District (MWRD) pursuant to an intergovernmental agreement for sewage treatment. These fees are included in the linked schedule below.
